MIDI WAVESOUND …produces music by interrupting infrared beams that cross the frame from top to bottom. The instrument is used in music therapy to structure a sense of time and rhythm in people with impaired dexterity.

There are 18 invisible beams; each produces a different note which is triggered by moving a hand within the frame, or by sliding the yellow ball.
